Impressive results from St. Vincents and Berrymede
The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has published primary school league tables reflecting the results from Key Stage 2 tests taken by year six children in May 2009.
These Tables give information on the achievements of pupils in local primary schools, and how they compare with other schools in the Local Authority (LA) area.
The national average for 2009 is for 72% of pupils to gain level 4 or more in English and Maths.
The tables show most schools in Acton are below average at Level 4 in both English and Maths. However, Berrymede Junior School and St Vincent's RC Primary have produced impressive results.
St Vincent's pupils were awarded 93% of passes in English and maths at level 4 or more and Berrymede managed 91%.
The tables should be considered alongside other sources of information such as Ofsted reports and school prospectuses.
Ofsted school inspection reports can be obtained from Ofsted’s website at www.ofsted.gov.uk or direct from the school on request.
