The proposals will include approximately 12 new retail units including a foodstore, residential development above the existing Oaks Shopping Centre, new modern offices, car-parking and improved pedestrian access.

John Bourne from Acton Regeneration Company commented, "The proposals will renew and improve the retail offer in Acton, creating an exciting shopping destination for the town centre. By including homes within the development, we can create an active and vibrant environment which respects the local environment and complements the existing neighbourhood. We will be working with the Council and the local community to bring the plans forward over the next few months."

Prior to being submitted to Ealing Council Planning Department, the plans will be displyed at a public exhibition to be held at Unit 10 in The Oaks Shopping Centre on Friday 10th and Saturday 11 June from 10am until 4pm.
