Swedish Body Massage, Reflexology and Deep Tissue Massage by therapist Christopher John, body masseur and reflexologist. Christopher has been qualified for five years and has been practicing in Acton for the past year. He specialises in Swedish Body Massage, Reflexology and Deep Tissue Massage.

A little stress can make our lives more exciting. But too much can lead to health problems like fatigue, digestive upsets, headaches, back pain etc.

Body Massage is a technique designed to ease muscle tension, improve your circulation and promote relaxation in both body and mind. It is good for stress relief, improved circulation and muscle tension.

Deep Tissue Massage gives a deeper involvement with the tissue layers of the body, and gives results varying from relaxation, to breakdown of muscle tension, to a full range of movement being helped to be restored.

Reflexology uses finger manipulation techniques applied to the feet and/or hands, also leaving the client with a great sense of well being. It can help digestive problems, migraine, arthritis, hormonal imbalances and infertility.

Sports Massage is for anyone before or after a work-out or sports activity.

Pre-Event: Massage assists in warming up the clients body increasing blood supply to the muscles; aiding joint and muscle mobility leaving the client feeling great and ready for the task at hand.

Post Event: Massage Helps to get adrenaline levels back to normal , muscle to recover faster and reduces the chances of injuries.

Home visits are also available. Contact Christopher for more information.

Pallve, Osteopath in ActonPallve the Osteopath uses a structural approach including soft tissue techniques, articulations and joint mobilisations reinforced by postural advice and home exercises.

Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis & treatment that lays emphasis on the structural and functional integrity of the body.

Most commonly, osteopaths treat: low back pain, sciatica, neck and upper back pain, peripheral joint pain (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, foot), workplace strains e.g. RSI, sports injuries e.g. tennis and golfer's elbow, backache in pregnancy, symptoms of chronic conditions, e.g.,asthma, arthritis, stiffness associated with wear and tear, effects of trauma, e.g., whiplash, muscle strains, ligament sprains, period pain, irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, migraines, postural problems & many others.

Reflexology
Reflexology treats problems by applying pressure to reflex areas in the feet that correspond to different parts of the body. This brings deep relaxation allowing the body’s own healing processes to be stimulated, helping you to return to a state of balance and well-being.

It is a deeply relaxing and luxurious treatment for both mind and body and effective for relieving symptoms of stress.
                                                                                                                                                     My Chiropodist, ActonHolistic Massage
The holistic approach takes into account the person’s whole being, and not just the physical symptoms. It is a soothing and comforting treatment using the hands to aid relaxation, promote suppleness of the muscles, improve circulation and reduce stress.

In fact, since 75% of disease is thought to be caused by stress, massage may well improve your health. It encourages improved circulation, aids digestion, waste removal and neural communication. Massage invigorates and relaxes thus preventing spasm and stiffness and promotes cell regeneration. Massage is safe, non-invasive and a natural therapy. Most people, from children to adults, can benefit from massage treatments.

Essentially, massage benefits the whole body, both physiologically and psychologically.

“After only two sessions with Pallve my long standing and debilitating lower back pain has completely disappeared. She has a very caring and supportive manner about her and I would highly recommend her services.” N. Emsall

“Just a quick note to say how grateful I am for the treatment you administered over 5 sessions during September. I am pleased to say that things have worked very well. Your diagnosis was spot on and the course of action taken has proved very successful as I've been pain free since then. Again I thank you and would have no hesitation in recommending your practice to anybody.” I. Jennings
