Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Acton Attack

A 56-year-old man from Acton is facing an attempted murder charge after another man was stabbed in the early hours of this Monday (15 March).

Police were called at 1:46am to Spencer Road where Peter Ormes lives following reports of a man being attacked.

A man in his forties was taken to a west London hospital with stab injuries to his neck and head. His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

Mr Ormes will appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 16 March. He is also accused of possession of an offensive weapon.
