Teen Charged in Connection With East Acton Sexual Assaults

16-year-old boy held after three incidents near Old Oak Common Lane

A teenager has been charged by detectives investigating a series of sexual assaults that took place in the East Acton area.

The 16-year-old boy was detained at 12:50am on Monday, 30 November on suspicion of three counts of sexual assault.

He was taken into custody at an east London police station where he remains. He will appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 1 December.

The arrest follows an investigation into three separate incidents. A male is alleged to have approached three women and made sexual remarks before touching them inappropriately.

All the incidents were reported as having taken place on Sunday, 22 November between 7:30pm and 8:30pm on Old Oak Common Lane.
