'Suspicious males' asking residents to sell their cars
News in from our local police - they've had reports of "suspicious males" calling at houses apparently at random to convince residents to sell their cars.
Sergeant Danny Williams of the police's South Acton Safer Neighbourhoods team told us that the men were both described as white, one with short dark hair, and the other with longer blonde hair and more heavy set.
Sgt. Williams was also keen to point out that at this point there's no evidence that any crime or wrongdoing has actually occurred. Still, he reminded us that sensible precautions should be taken with cold callers.
And that's always good advice, isn't it?
