Told Crown St and South Acton Estate no-go areas
A 17-year-old youth has been convicted of inflicting injuries on an employee at Canary Kebab House on Crown St. The shop employee had to be taken to hospital after the attack, which happened soon after midnight on June 4th this year.
After a police investigation, the 17-year-old was arrested and found guilty of GBH during a trial on September 30th.
The youth was given a post-conviction Anti Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) which prevents him from associating with a number of local offenders as well as from entering Crown Street and other areas in close proximity of the South Acton estate.
PC James Clarke from South Acton Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “This case represents a great outcome which concludes all the efforts made by the officers from Ealing Critical and Violent Crime Unit and the South Acton Safer Neighbourhood Team.

The arrest of this individual was made possible thanks to an excellent work of our Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who tirelessly worked with the owners of the premises as well as used their local knowledge to identify the suspect and bring him to justice. I hope this will send a strong message about our proactive approach to resolve any type of local crime as well as the consequences one is likely to face if convicted of this type of criminal offence”.
