Third person to be held over Brassie Avenue Shooting
A third person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Daniel Ezra Denis.
On 19th October a woman in her twenties was arrested in the morning at her home address. She was taken to a north London police station where she was later bailed to return pending further enquiries.
Earlier this month two men in their early twenties were arrested in West London in connection with the murder. They were later released on police bail to attend a police station in West London to a date in mid December.
At just before 22.30 on Tuesday 18th September two vehicles pulled off Old Oak Common Lane into Brassie Ave.
As they pulled level at the junction with St Andrews Rd, shots were fired from one of the vehicles into the other. The vehicle with the gunman then continued along Brassie Ave and made off in the direction of The Long Drive.
Daniel Ezra Denis aged of Erconwald Street, W3, who was driving a Black BMW 118 5-door saloon, and was alone in the vehicle, was assisted by members of the public who called the police and the ambulance service but he later died in hospital.
A post mortem gave cause of death as gunshot wounds to the head.
