Stuff For Free

Give things for free and then get things for free

After Christmas, and with an appropriate distance between the now and seeing your relatives, only one thing can be on your mind: "How do I get rid of this god-awful tat those idiots gave me?"

And yet, at the same time, we all have our burning, capitalistic, avarice to accumulate more things raging within us. How do we bring these two sides together?

Well, the environmental charity Healthy Planet is here to end the dichotomy. From 12 to 24 January (8am to 12pm, 9am to 3pm on weekends), you'll be able to drop off anything you don't want - including broken electronics (which will be recycled). The charity elves will organise the donations and then on 27 to 29 January (9am to 3pm) you can return to pick up anything you want from the donations. For free! Free! Free! It's everyone's favourite price!

Where is this incredible miracle happening? Why at the Vision Warehouse 15 on Kendal Avenue. Those are the fancy new warehouses where the BBC used to be in the industrial quarter behind the Park Royal cinema complex.
