Katkiene Aldona killed after being hit by car on Oxford Street

A man is to appear before Horseferry Road magistrates charged with the murder of a 61 year old Acton woman.

Katkiene Aldona, died today after being struck by a car on Oxford Street. She was hit along with two other people on the busy shopping street last Friday.

The other people involved escaped with relatively minor injuries.

Simon Ellis Pring, aged 29, is being charged charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection with the incident.
