A chance to visit this happy, thriving and vibrant school
It has been a busy term at Maple Walk Independent School: author visits, sporting triumph, biking breakfasts, coding workshops… and we have still had plenty of time for learning. We offer a first-class, traditional education in a creative environment for 4-11 year olds. Our Core Knowledge curriculum expands children’s mental horizons by giving them a solid knowledge base in the arts and sciences. Meanwhile, our Singapore Maths Inspire programme is accelerating learning throughout the school.
Maple Walk has specialist teachers for French, Drama, Dance and PE and we take pride in enabling every child to reach their full potential. Maple Walk pupils are confident, happy and can converse enthusiastically with adults. Last term our Year 6 leavers had some impressive results, winning places at some of London’s top secondary schools. However, we don’t just celebrate academic success; six of our pupils were selected to represent the borough in the London Youth Games and our girls’ football team came second in the ISA North tournament. With visits to the Wallace Collection, the National Archives and the Museum of London, to name just a few, Maple Walk pupils make active use of London – the city really is our classroom.
Maple Walk is housed in purpose-built accommodation in NW10 and makes regular use of the Green Flag-awarded Roundwood Park nearby. We already welcome a number of families from Acton and look forward to meeting more.
We try to keep our fees low and, at £2,846 per term for the academic year 2015/16, an independent education may be more affordable than you think.
Our open mornings for the Autumn term are so popular that they are now fully booked, but do come and visit us next term on 9th or 23rd of February 2016 at 9am. Visit our website to book a place: www.maplewalkschool.co.uk.
