Arson Suspected At Gunnersbury Triangle Nature Reserve

Fire brigade believe two recent fires were started deliberately

Gunnersbury Triangle

Local police are investigating two cases of suspected arson which occurred recently at the Gunnersbury Triangle Nature Reserve on Bollo Lane.

They say that the Fire Brigade have ruled out the fires starting of their own accord due to the nature of the fires and the times that they started.

In a message issued through the OWL system, local officer Simon Cole said a lot funding has gone into make the reserve a safe haven for animals and an oasis for visitors so it was unacceptable that someone would try to destroy all the hard work.

He asked that if anyone has any images from the area from later on over the weekend to forward them to him or to get in contact if there is any other relevant information. He also suggests people keep an eye out over the coming weekends for any suspicious activity around the reserve.
