Woman Dies After Being Hit By Train at East Acton

22-year-old victim named locally as Charnelle Williams

A woman has died after being struck by a train at East Acton underground station on New Year's Day.

The Central line was shut down between White City and North Acton while emergency services dealt with the incident at 8.30am on Monday.

She has been named locally as 22-year-old Charnelle Williams.

The coroner has been informed.
