Acton is a ' Seriously Connected Area'

A cosmopolitan, 'up and coming' area with fantastic transport links

Acton gets a big thumbs up in the Evening Standard Property Insider guide which should get plenty more potential buyers looking around the area.

It's described lovingly by local estate agent (and resident) Paul Connolly:

'' "This area has changed a lot over the years. Acton is up and coming; the feel is very much cosmopolitan, with boutiques hidden away and coffee shops tucked in unusual spots. There are fantastic transport links, beautiful houses and architecture and attractive tree-lined streets."

He says the hottest properties are in the Victorian terraces, conversions and cottages in Perryn Road, Shaa Road and Milton Road - within the coveted Poet's Corner neighbourhood. The new-build blocks in this area, such as Poet's Place in Churchfield Road, are also sought after.

Mr Connolly says his dream house  would be on Twyford Avenue, King Edwards Gardens or Shaa Road - off Poet's Corner.
