More than two years after the closure of the main Post Office in Market Place, Acton once again has a Post Office close to the High Street.

A counter has opened within the new Budgens store at 43-49 Gunnersbury Lane near the Fire Station. The site was formerly an ‘Acton Local’ store and a Spar.

It will be open seven days a week for a total of 111 hours and customers of some UK banks can access accounts at new branch.

Services include bill payment, cash withdrawals and foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns

It will be open Monday – Saturday: 6am – 10pm and Sunday: 7am – 10pm.

Antoinette, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said, “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best. We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office alongside Ealing Common, Horn Lane and The Vale branches will ensure that people in this area have easy access to our services.”

Post Office services are offered alongside the Budgens store, enabling customers to carry out a wide range of Post Office transactions alongside retail purchases.
