Artist and photographer Nikki Howard died last month

The funeral of an Acton environmental campaigner has been announced.

Nicola Howard , better known as Nikki, suffered from complex breathing problems and was a key activist who helped highlight pollution issues around Acton.

Tributes from Ealing Council Leader Julian Bell and former Conservative MP Angie Bray followed her death on 3 January.

She didn't have a large family and anybody who knew her is encouraged to attend her service; W3 forum members, neighbours, dog lovers and environmental campaigners - all are invited to pay their respects.

The funeral wil take place at 12.40pm on Tuesday 21 February at Mortlake Crematorium.
