New Lidl Supermarket To Open in Acton This Winter

Lidl has confirmed its plans to open another supermarket in Acton.

The new store will be situated on the corner of Western Avenue (A40) and Old Oak Common Lane on the ground floor level of the Western Circus development.

The retailer intends to continue operating the existing store in the Oaks Shopping Centre of Acton High Street.

The company is currently advertising for staff and says it has already recruited some people to work there.

Anyone interested in applying should keep an eye out for vacancies on its careers website.

Construction work has finished on the Western Circus development which includes 364 flats and will have a café as well as the new supermarket.

The development on the former B&Q site by Barratt London consists of one and two bedroom apartments aimed at first-time buyers.
