Police were called at 12.20pm today (Saturday, 30 April) to reports of a collision involving three vehicles on Noel Road at the junction with Horn Lane, W3. Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended.

Two people have been taken to a central London hospital; their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.The road was temporarily closed but has since reopened.

Eye witness, Julian Smith, sent the images in this report following the accident.

He said the problems have been evident for some time:

'''The road layout was changed temporarily due to previous accidents but then reverted to the original - even though the Council and TFL were aware it was dangerous. I actually phoned the police this morning before the accident having nearly been hit in my own car by another car racing across the roundabout. Police informed me they could not do anything and that it was the council and TFL's responsibility. Urgent action must be taken now before someone is killed.''

An Ealing Council spokeswoman said:

“As with all serious road incidents, the Council has requested details from the police of what may have caused it and will then consider if further action may be required.”
