Volunteers urgently sought for local charity

Acton Homeless Concern is a drop-in day centre providing much needed advice and support.

It's been helping the community for nearly thirty years and as a voluntary organisation is wholly dependent on people donating time or money.

There's an urgent need for more volunteers and an appeal has recently been sent to Acton W3:

Could you spare a couple of hours a week to sort clothing for Acton Homeless Concern? The Berrymead Gardens based charity needs a couple of people to go through the bags generously donated by individuals. This is to provide clothing for homeless people. Ideally, it would suit a couple of friends working together.
