Mototcyclist Killed in Road Accident at Gypsy Corner


Collision happened earlier this morning  - police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision on the A40 today.

Officers were called at 06:50 on Thursday, 15 March, to a road traffic collision on the eastbound A40 between Concord Road and Gypsy Corner, W3.

On police arrival, a male motorcycle rider was being treated by paramedics for injuries received as a result of a collision with a lorry.

The man - aged in his 30s - was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe they know his identity and next of kin have been informed, but they await formal identification.

Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit at Alperton are investigating.
