Local gets through to prestigious beauty pagent competition

A North Acton mum has got through to the finals of a prestigious beauty contest.
Sudha Thakur, 33, runs her own business and training academy and says she is delighted to take part in Mrs Galaxy UK 2017 after winning a regional heat.

She says:

''  I am so excited to have made it to the final, it is a great achievement and I can not wait to meet all of the other girls! The winner of Mrs Galaxy UK will travel to the USA with contestants from all over the world, to compete in the international final of Mrs Galaxy, which is being held in the summer of 2017.

''The international final is a once in a lifetime opportunity and will be a truly amazing experience. The UK has enjoyed some amazing success at the Galaxy International Pageant with them winning an international crown 5 times and had placements in every division for the past 4 years!''

The competition will take place at the Park Hall Hotel in Lancashire on March 9th.
