Major improvement needed for high street restaurant
A recent food hygiene check has found that Amigo's on Acton High street needs major improvement.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme allows the public to see the results of food hygiene inspections as a rating from 0 to 5. Rating certificates and window stickers are sent out to businesses after assessment.
The fast food restaurant was checked by Ealing Council on 25th April and awarded the overall score of 1 - meaning that major improvement was needed.
The food hygiene and safety (including food handling practices and procedures, and temperature control) was described as poor, structural compliance (including cleanliness, layout, condition of structure, lighting, ventilation, facilities etc.), was fair, and there was little confidence in management.
Scores on the Doors is a website that collates information on the food premises supplied by the Food Standards Agency and provided by local authorities.
