The next in the series Iris Axon Concerts is a performance of words and music from Trio Cavatina.

“A celebration of Poets and Song”, is described as a slightly unconventional recital programme which is based around poets rather than composers. The programme includes different settings of four of poems, including “ Oh my love is like a red, red rose”.

It takes place at 4pm on 3 October at Acton Hill Church, High Street and Woodlands Avenue, W3 9BU.

The performance features Carol Mounter as the narrator, soprano Carol-Anne Grainger and Andrew Charity on piano.
